In the period of January-August 2024, a total of 4,068,500 citizens of Uzbekistan went on trips abroad for tourism purposes.
Based on data from the Statistics Agency, this figure has shown a significant increase of 1,103,400 individuals, representing a growth of 37.2% compared to the previous year.
The breakdown of Uzbekistan citizens traveling abroad for tourism purposes in the first eight months of this year by destination country is as follows:
Kyrgyzstan – 1,913.6 thousand people;
Tajikistan – 797.6 thousand people;
Kazakhstan – 640.2 thousand people;
Russia – 194.7 thousand people;
Türkiye – 157.7 thousand people;
Saudi Arabia – 111.9 thousand people;
UAE – 81.4 thousand people;
Egypt – 27.7 thousand people;
Kuwait – 16.7 thousand people;
South Korea – 14.9 thousand people;
Other countries – 112.1 thousand people.
