At the SCO Secretariat in Beijing, the Council of National Coordinators of SCO member states convened to discuss the application of the Samarkand Protocol to further the organization’s objectives. The Protocol was adopted at the SCO Summit in Samarkand in 2022.
The topics of discussion included the activities to be held during Kazakhstan’s tenure as Chair of the SCO in 2023-2024, which will culminate in the SCO Summit in Astana the following year.
In addition, the attendees were presented with the launch of the new website of the SCO Secretariat.
