On August 8, during the state visit of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) signed a Memorandum to establish the Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Expert Council. The document was signed by ISRS Director Eldor Aripov and KazISS Director Yerkin Tukumov in the presence of the two state leaders. This Council aims to facilitate and strengthen expert discussions between the two countries by involving specialized experts and specialists to generate new ideas and proposals for further enhancing comprehensive collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The Council will focus on analyzing and utilizing the existing potential in trade, economic, industrial, technological, cultural, and humanitarian spheres of both countries. UzA.
