The urgent need for responsible water usage is a crucial issue in today’s world.

The implementation of modern technologies, systems, and installations for managing water resources is becoming increasingly prevalent.

According to the Uzeltechsanoat Association, Uzbekistan imported pumps worth $250 million last year, indicating a growing demand due to rising consumption.

In order to localize production and collaborate with top foreign companies, a task force consisting of government officials has been formed. Discussions were held with representatives from the Danish company Grundfos regarding the possibility of jointly producing pumps.

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Ahadbek Khaydarov, the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Zokir Ishpulatov, the Chairman of Uzeltechsanoat, Mirziyod Yunusov, the Chairman of Uzsuvtaminot, Ahmad Suvonqulov, the Chief Executive Officer of Grundfos, Hamed Heyhat, the Regional Director, Michael Nielsen, and the Head of Grundfos Uzbekistan, Farrukh Salohiddinov, discussed the implementation of water resource management technologies in Uzbekistan, government support for the pump production project, and expected outcomes.
