In the first half of 2024, the number of tourists from the United Kingdom who visited Uzbekistan amounted to 9 thousand, according to the Statistics Agency. This represents a 34.5% increase from the same period last year, with an additional 2.3 thousand British citizens entering the country for tourism purposes.

The majority of British tourists visited Uzbekistan for leisure and recreation, with 7,370 people entering the country for this purpose. 862 people visited relatives, 679 came for business purposes, 32 for commercial reasons, 31 for study, and 2 for medical treatment.
