This was a 31.6% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, with 3 thousand more tourists from the UK visiting the country.
Out of the 12.7 thousand British tourists, the majority (10,280) visited Uzbekistan for recreation and leisure purposes. 1,457 came to visit relatives, 831 for official purposes, 54 for business, 50 for study, and only 4 for medical treatment.
