The National Olympic Committee has announced that 8 foreign athletes will compete for Uzbekistan at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. These athletes will have the opportunity to compete for medals under the Uzbek flag. Among them are Alice Fakhrutdinova in pentathlon, Olga Zabelinskaya in cycling, Anna Prakaten in rowing, Razambek Jamalov and Javrail Shapiev in freestyle wrestling, Rustam Assakalov in Greco-Roman wrestling, Igor Myalin in diving, and Ilya Sibirtsev in swimming.
