Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, was in Astana for a working visit and had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The two discussed the growth of beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in terms of the Organization of Turkic States, covering a range of areas including trade, economics, transport, logistics, culture, and humanitarianism.
The meeting focused particularly on the expansion of the partnership in the aforementioned fields.
