A roundtable discussion was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss the implementation of the joint educational program “School for Training Management Personnel” between Uzbekistan and Germany. The event was attended by various representatives, including the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan, the Head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Central Asia Office, and the Head of the Foundation’s representative office in Uzbekistan. The program is designed to last for 17 weeks, with a combination of classes, independent study, and internships. Students who excel in the program will have the opportunity to complete a nine-day internship in Germany. The program is funded by various organizations and has been made possible with the help of Max Georg Meier, the Head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Central Asia Office. An agreement was signed between the Academy of Public Administration and the Hanns Seidel Foundation to continue their cooperation in 2025.
