Foreign visitors participated in the festivities of Navruz

Navruz celebrations have a rich history. Uzbekistan commemorates this traditional holiday annually with cultural events, performances by artists, and tightrope walkers.

A grand celebration of Navruz was held at the Ancient and Eternal Bukhara Complex in Bukhara. The event was attended not only by locals, but also by foreign tourists.

Tourists delighted in the festive program, which featured traditional games, the finest examples of folklore art, performances by amateur groups, circus acts, tightrope walking, and folk dances.

One of the tourists shared, “During my visit to Bukhara, I explored the city’s landmarks and took part in the Navruz celebrations. After learning about your cultural values and customs, as well as witnessing the making of sumalak and spring dishes, I had an unforgettable experience.”
