Fergana Medical Institute Welcomes Students and Doctors from Dubai

Fergana Medical Institute and Gulf Medical University of the UAE have collaborated to create a 4-year joint master’s program in Doctor of Medicine (therapy).

The Cooperation Agreement signed by the rectors of both institutions aims to incorporate advanced pedagogical technologies, educational programs, and teaching materials based on international academic standards into the educational process. They also plan to conduct joint masterclasses with the participation of professors, teachers, and students, and invite highly qualified university teachers and scientists for advanced training courses.

According to the admission quota approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health will train 100 foreign citizens with a bachelor’s degree in the specialty of Doctor of Medicine, starting from the 2024-2025 academic year. The first and second years of the master’s program will utilize Problem-Based Learning, while the third and fourth years will use Workplace-Based Learning.
