The Head of FAO, Qu Dongyu, will be making a trip to Uzbekistan on September 5-6.
He will be participating in the International High-Level Forum on Landlocked Developing Countries on Food Security and the Sustainable Development Goals in Tashkent.
The two-day forum will cover a range of topics and events, including a meeting of agriculture ministers, opportunities for WTO accession, investment opportunities, private sector cooperation, food security, climate change adaptation, and innovation.
Additionally, an Investment Forum will be held during the visit to discuss and develop potential projects. Representatives from international organizations and foreign financial institutions will be in attendance.
Aside from these activities, Qu Dongyu will also have official meetings and visit various agricultural facilities during his visit.
