The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan recently held a strategic dialogue between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, exploring the possibilities of mutually beneficial cooperation. Representatives from diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries, expert-analytical, scientific, and academic circles of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea were present at the forum.
The Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan (ISRS), Eldor Aripov, addressed the attendees. The event was organized by ISRS in partnership with the Center for International Area Studies at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
During the forum, the participants discussed the current state of Central Asia, potential for economic cooperation, and the prospects of cultural and humanitarian dialogue between Central Asian countries and South Korea. From the Korean side, the event was attended by the Director of the Center for International Area Studies Kang Jun-young, Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Republic of Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Lee Jong-kook, Secretary to South Korean President for Economic Security Wang Yun-jong, other professors and experts.
