In Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Javlon Vakhabov, the Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), held a meeting with Akylbek Kylychev, the Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the activities of the academy, which was founded in 2001 by the Government of Kyrgyzstan through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were presented. The leadership of the academy praised the Uzbekistani government’s efforts in implementing significant reforms in higher education, improving the country’s system of personnel retraining, modernizing the system of higher and secondary specialized education, incorporating modern forms and technologies of education, and developing science and research programs. Both parties expressed interest in exchanging experts and researchers, as well as collaborating on modern methods for training specialists in foreign policy, international relations, and law. They also discussed the possibility of conducting joint research on current foreign policy and internal socio-economic processes in Central Asia, as well as publishing joint publications.
