The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Takeshi Watanabe, a representative from Marubeni.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies reported that during the meeting, potential collaborations in cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and education were discussed.
The Japanese representatives were also briefed on the ongoing IT sector reforms in Uzbekistan and the favorable conditions for foreign companies. Suggestions for improving the investment climate and increasing the export volume of IT were deliberated.
Furthermore, the introduction of modern professions related to the industry was also addressed.
The meeting also focused on the partnership with Marubeni in terms of training skilled personnel for the IT sector and providing them with employment opportunities.
