Current issues discussed at the Tashkent Regional Session

The Tashkent Regional Council held a regular session in Nurafshan.

In attendance were Zoyir Mirzayev, the Hokim of Tashkent region, deputies of the Regional Council, responsible individuals from relevant departments and organizations, and members of the media.

The agenda included discussing a proposal to the Central Election Commission for the establishment of single-mandate constituencies in Tashkent region for the upcoming elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

According to Article 88 of the Election Code, there are 60 seats in the Tashkent Regional Council for the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber, regional, district, and city Councils of People’s Deputies.

The session also addressed the approval of a roadmap for the sustainable development of Urtachirchiq and Yangiyul districts, the socio-economic development of Akkurgan district, and the improvement of living conditions for the population.
