During the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, new opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries were identified. In accordance with the agreed plan of action, the Week of Culture, Crafts and Tourism of Uzbekistan is taking place in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from February 20-26, 2024. The main purpose of this event is to showcase the diverse cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, including classical and folk arts, performances, and customs, and to strengthen the friendship between Qatar and Uzbekistan. This is a result of President Mirziyoyev’s foreign policy, which is based on open and sincere dialogue and mutual respect. The Week of Culture, Crafts and Tourism in Doha is attended by a delegation led by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and aims to establish new avenues of cooperation and future plans. The week includes concerts, exhibitions, creative dialogues, and presentations showcasing Uzbekistan’s national art, cuisine, and tourism sector. This event presents the rich history, culture, and unique art of the Uzbek people.
