Culture and tourism issues under discussion

On December 2-5, 2024, Istanbul and TURKSOY will hold a wide celebration for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Ajiniyaz Qosıbay uli, an outstanding Karakalpak poet and thinker. As part of the event, officials from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, B.Usmonov and H.Dehqonov, along with D.Khudoyberdiyeva from TURKSOY, R.Zarikeyev from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and B.Temirbayev from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, met with Dr. Coşkun Yılmaz, the Director of Istanbul Provincial Culture and Tourism. During the meeting, the Uzbekistan delegation members discussed ways to strengthen cultural and tourism ties between the two countries and opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. The meeting was attended by Nazokat Usmanova from UzA.
