The Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a literary and educational event on the topic of “The Influence of Alisher Navoi’s Literary and Scientific Legacy on Interethnic Relations”. This event was held in honor of the 584th anniversary of Alisher Navoi’s birth, commemorating his contributions as a thinker, statesman, and advocate for friendship and justice.
The occasion is widely celebrated throughout the country, with various events and activities being organized to honor Navoi’s legacy in literature, spirituality, science, education, and friendship. R. Kurbanov, Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries, emphasized the importance of studying Navoi’s legacy for the spiritual development of all citizens.
As is well known, the works of Alisher Navoi have been a source of inspiration for creative minds in Turkic communities, as his noble ideas of humanity, compassion, spiritual purity, justice, friendship, and harmony remain relevant in all eras.
The main part of the event consisted of lectures on Navoi’s life and works, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the development of the Uzbek language and literature, as well as the significance of his creative legacy in educating the younger generation.
