Minhajiddin Mirzo, the First Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, highlighted that the month of February holds great significance in Uzbekistan as it marks the birth of two eminent literary figures – Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.

During the event, Farida Afruz, Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan and a well-known poetess, emphasized Babur’s creative works and activities that revolve around themes of respect and honor for women, love and loyalty, and a call for kindness.

The program featured a combination of literature and art, with students from the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy participating. The event also included a book and art exhibition, as well as recitals of Babur’s poems and ghazals. A monument was adorned with flowers as a tribute to the great poet.
