A delegation, led by Javlon Vakhabov who is the Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), made a trip to Islamabad.
During their stay, Mr. Vakhabov signed agreements with the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, the Institute of Regional Studies, and the Islamabad Institute of Strategic Studies. These documents highlight the importance of strengthening academic cooperation, conducting joint research in areas such as politics, security, trade and investment, and socio-economic development, and enhancing regional connections between Central and South Asia.
The parties emphasized the significance of establishing intellectual and institutional ties to ensure stability in the region, promote mutual trade and investment, and address common challenges such as climate change and security concerns.
