The Hokim of Jizzakh region, Ergash Saliyev, welcomed a group of visitors led by the Deputy State Secretary of Hungary for Innovation, László Bódis.
Ergash Saliyev expressed his sincere gratitude to the guests for their visit and provided them with information about the region’s socio-economic and investment potential, as well as Jizzakh’s higher education institutions and ongoing investment projects in key industries such as automotive, textile, building materials, agriculture, and tourism.
László Bódis, the head of the Hungarian delegation, thanked the Hokim for the warm reception and praised the strong cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone, including the BYD Uzbekistan Factory and Deya Confectionery Factory, and to learn about the Presidential School and the innovative education and industrial technopark “Inno”.
