A Commemorative Gathering in Bishkek Celebrating the 32nd Anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, a spiritual and educational event was held in the capital city of Kyrgyzstan with the theme “The Constitution: A Guarantee of Freedom and Prosperity”. The forum, held at the Kyrgyzstan Aviation Institute of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, was attended by representatives from various social, political, and business circles, as well as higher education institutions, local media, and Uzbek students studying in Kyrgyzstan. A video showcasing the updated Constitution of the New Uzbekistan was presented during the roundtable discussion, and brochures containing the text of the Constitution were distributed to the guests. The participants of the event extended their congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on Constitution Day and wished them continued success in building a New Uzbekistan. The discussion focused on the formation, role, and significance of the Uzbekistan Constitution in the country’s development, as well as the goals of the Constitutional Referendum held on April 30, 2023. The cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and the progress made in strengthening friendly and trusting relations between the two countries, was also discussed. In his speech, Ambassador Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev provided an overview of the construction of a legal and democratic society in Uzbekistan, with the adoption of the country’s Constitution on December 8, 1992 being a pivotal milestone. Following the event, a meeting was held with Uzbek students studying in Kyrgyzstan, during which they received consular and legal guidance. UzA.
