The World Bank report “Air Quality Assessment for Tashkent and the Roadmap for Air Quality Management Improvement in Uzbekistan” was created as a way to evaluate the air quality in the capital of Uzbekistan and develop a plan for improving air quality management in the country. The report was a joint effort between the World Bank and the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, with assistance from the Ministry of Economy and Finance. It is part of a series of studies on air quality in Central Asia, aimed at facilitating dialogue with regional governments and establishing a comprehensive platform for air quality knowledge and cooperation.
